Venue atmosphere, assessed
Your venue might look great.
But does it feel great?
We find the sound, lighting, music and experience issues that quietly cost you atmosphere — the ones customers feel but never mention — then tell you exactly what to fix first.

The problem
Customers feel it. They just can’t name it.
Nobody tells you the speaker coverage is uneven or the lighting is set for daytime. They tell you something else — or they tell you nothing and leave early.
“It felt a bit flat.”
What they mean: the sound and light aren’t giving the room any energy.
“We didn’t stay long.”
What they mean: nothing about the space invited them to settle in.
“Wasn’t sure it was open.”
What they mean: a room that looks empty empties faster.
The method
Four things shape how a room feels
Our VIBE framework assesses every venue across the same four pillars, so you get a clear picture instead of a vague sense that something is off.
Volume & Sound
Coverage, level, clarity and how sound moves through the room.
Illumination
Warmth, focal points, and how the light shifts from day to night.
Background & Music
Whether the music fits the room and lifts with the evening.
Experience & Execution
Arrival, flow, and whether the room runs the same every shift.

Three steps to a clear plan
Send your walkthrough
Film the room slowly, ideally in the evening. Add photos, a floor plan and your biggest concerns.
We assess the venue
Every area, across all four VIBE pillars and twenty categories, with anything needing measurement flagged for the floor.
You get your report
A professional, scored report and a 30-minute call to walk through exactly what to do and in what order.
Why Behind the Venue
Expertise from inside real venues
This isn’t theory from a template. It comes from years of running the sound, lighting and technical operations that make venues work.
We fix the setup before the budget
Most atmosphere problems are configuration and operation, not equipment. We get the most from what you have first.
Honest about remote limits
A remote review can’t measure everything. Anything that needs testing on site is flagged plainly, never guessed.
A plan, not a shopping list
You get priorities, quick wins and timings — the order to work in, not a pile of things to buy.

EnquireQuestions
Good to know
Can you really assess a venue remotely?
Yes. From a walkthrough video, photos and a floor plan we can assess most of what shapes a room. Anything that genuinely needs measurement on site — precise sound levels, for example — is flagged as “to verify on site” rather than guessed. That honesty is part of the method.
We just spent on our AV. Isn’t it too late?
That’s often the best time to look. New systems are usually set up for the install, not for the room, and underperform until they’re configured and operated well. The audit is about getting the most from what you already own.
How long does it take?
You’ll have your report back within 5 days, followed by a 30-minute call to walk through it together.
What do I actually need to send?
A short video walkthrough, some photos of the main areas, a floor plan if you have one, your opening hours and capacity, and the things that frustrate you most about the space. Send what you have and we’ll work from that.
Is my venue too small, or too large?
Neither. Independent bars, restaurants, hotel bars and larger entertainment venues all benefit — atmosphere matters at every size.
